Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT), Chennai, invites applications from eligible candidates for the award of Doctoral Fellowships for the year 2015-16
CICT Chennai Doctoral Fellowships details 2015:
The Doctoral Fellowship includes Rs 12,000/- per month for 2 years with a contingency grant of Rs 12,000/- per annum

Eligibility for Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) Chennai Doctoral Fellowships 2015
Candidates should have registered for PhD in any recognized University or Institute. The evidence of PhD registration should be enclosed
Candidates holding Postgraduate degree with not less than 55 marks in Literature, Linguistics, or allied disciplines such as Anthropology, Sociology, Education, Archaeology, Epigraphy, Musicology, Performing Arts, Folklore, Philosophy, etc. are eligible to apply
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be given relaxation of 5 marks
Age Limit:
The candidate should not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 5th September 2015. Age relaxation will be allowed for OBC candidates (3 years) and SC/ST candidates (5 years)
Selection Process for CICT Chennai Doctoral Fellowships 2015
The evaluation of candidates will be made through a written test followed by an interview
