AYUSH National Eligibility Test 2018 for Phd Fellowships – Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government has notified the AYUSH National Eligibility Test (AYUSH-NET) for PhD Fellowships – Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for the year 2018

The notification has been issued on behalf of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS – https://ccras.nic.in/), Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN – www.ccryn.org), Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM- www.ccrum.net), Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS – www.siddhacouncil.com) and Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH)

Important Dates for AYUSH National Eligibility Test 2018

  • Date of AYUSH National Eligibility Test (AYUSH-NET): 13th November 2018
  • Start of Online Registration and Submission of Application Form & Fee Deposit through SBI Collect/Cash in SBI branch through Challan: 20th September 2018
  • Date of Close of Online Registration and Submission of Applications (at all Stations): 03rd October 2018
  • Date of Close of Online Submission of Application Fee through NET Banking/Credit/Debit Card on SBI Collect System (at all Stations): 04th October 2018
  • Publication of List of Candidates registered for Test (on websites): 08th October 2018
  • Issue of E-Admission Certificate to Registered Candidates: 23rd October 2018

 

AYUSH NET 2018 PhD Fellowships (SRF)

  • The following Central Research Councils function under Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India to promote and coordinate research activities in the respective systems of medicine, as indicated below:
  • Ayurveda: Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS)
  • Yoga & Naturopathy: Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN)
  • Unani: Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM)
  • Siddha: Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS)
  • Homoeopathy: Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH)
  • *UGC has mutually recognized AYUSH-NET for admission to the PhD Program in the subject covered under AYUSH except for those subjects in which, UGC is conducted NET, such as “Yoga” and accordingly the Ministry of AYUSH has requested all Universities to exempt AYUSH-NET qualified candidates from their own Entrance Test for admission to PhD Program

 

Eligibility Criteria for AYUSH-NET 2018

Essential Qualifications

  • Post Graduate (MD/MS) for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy and
  • Post Graduate (MD(Y/N)) or Graduation (MNYS) with 5 years’ experience, for Yoga and Naturopathy

Fellowship Award

  • The fellowship will be provided for pursuing PhD under a recognized University/Institution of choice by the candidates and during their fellowship, they will be termed as Senior Research Fellows
  • This Scheme will also be open to Senior Research Fellows under various research schemes/projects to the Research Councils for each individual AYUSH stream for a specified duration. Such SRFs will be permitted to complete PhD while with Council in their respective project/scheme, if enrolled

Application Fee

  • The Application fee for General category is Rs.1000/-. For Other Backward Classes (OBC)-Non Creamy Layer, it is Rs.500/- and for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) (lower locomotive disability only), it is Rs.250/-
  • Application Fee can be deposited through Bank Chalan (SBI)/NEFT
  • Those applying through Bank Chalan, should download Bank Challan from the SBI’s website and deposit the requisite examination fee in any branch of the State Bank of India in the country in Cash
  • Fee can also be paid online through Debit/Credit Card from SBI Collect website. The journal number or the Transaction number given by the Bank is to be retained for future reference

 

Application Form for AYUSH National Eligibility Test 2018

  • Application can be submitted online at the respective websites 20th September 2018. Initially, the applicant has to sign-up with valid e-mail id and mobile number. After sign-up (Step-I), the system will generate One Time Password (OTP), which will be sent to applicant’s registered email/ (to be inquired) mobile
  • Applicant has to then login as a registered user and fill in the details in the application for completion of Step-II. Applicant may indicate his/her preference in the Online Application, as the case may be. The candidate will see his/her application under option ‘Preview’. Before submission of his/her Step-II details, the candidate should check all details and make necessary corrections, if any, under option ‘Edit’. Candidates are not allowed to change the Email –id and Mobile Number under EDIT option
  • After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip generated by the System with unique registration number and password, which may be retained for future reference.

AYUSH-NET 2018 Exam Pattern

  • The AYUSH-NET 2018 will be conducted online. The interested candidates possessing the above mentioned qualification (candidates appearing the final PG Exams, shall have PG Degree by 31st December 2018) may apply for their respective streams viz. Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy
