University of the West of England (UWE), UK is offering MBA Scholarships for students pursuing their MBA Programme for the academic year September 2017

University of the West of England

University of the West of England is a public university in Bristol also known as UWE Bristol. The university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Business management, environment, technology, health and applied sciences.

MBA Programme

The successful scholarship recipient will be expected to act as an ambassador for the programme during and after their study

This could include providing a video and/or written summary of their experiences to use for promotional purposes, attending an information event, acting as a student reference for the programme, or answering prospective students’ questions

Study Level: Postgraduate (full-time)

Award duration: One academic year

Number of Awards Available: 02 (one for September 2017 start and one for January 2018 start)

Nationalities accepted: All classed as overseas for fees purposes

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate should:
– have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st or 2:1 in an undergraduate degree
– hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition
– be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study
– be classed as overseas for fees purposes
– not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award
– provide official transcripts at the time of application

Candidates can apply online for the MBA Programme (https://www1.uwe.ac.uk)

Applications for the MBA (full-time) course can be made online by selecting the ‘Apply for this course’ option on the web page. To be considered for the Scholarship applicants need to clearly provide evidence in their statement about the following three issues:

Why you consider the MBA, and not another programme, will help you in your future professional development?

How the Bristol MBA will contribute to the business sector/industry of your expertise or the entrepreneurial endeavours you are involved in or going to be involved?

Students who have deferred their application from academic year 2016/2017 to 2017/2018 will need to write another personal statement if they would like to be considered for the Scholarship and upload it via their UWE welcome portal
