NEST Scholarships 2022 – Applications are invited from Indian students of all schools/colleges of Class 7th to Postgraduate level (Science, Engineering and Medical Courses only) for the award of several scholarships worth Rs.20000/- to Rs.50,000/- each.

About NEST Scholarship

  • The Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test is popularly known as NEST SCHOLARSHIP TEST or just NEST by most students across India This scheme of scholarships has been designed to award the talented students of our country with a handsome amount of scholarships to encourage and inspire them, so that they pursue their education with more enthusiasm and interest.
  • This scheme of scholarships is currently open to students of only science, engineering and medical courses starting from Class 7th to Postgraduate level.
  • All Indian students and children of NRIs across the world can apply for this scholarship.

 

NEST Scholarships Dates 2022

  • Last Date to register for 24th NEST Scholarship Test 2021 extended upto : 31st March 2022 (There is a late fee of Rs. 50 in February and Rs. 100 in March)
  • Revised Date of Online Test : 29th May 2022

  • NEST- BASIC Category : Rs. 20,000/-
  • NEST-JUNIOR-I Category : Rs. 25,000/- 
  • NEST-JUNIOR-II Category : Rs. 30,000/- 
  • NEST-SENIOR-I Category : Rs. 35,000/- 
  • NEST-SENIOR-II Category : Rs. 40,000/-
  • NEST-MASTER Category : Rs. 50,000/- 

 

NEST Scholarships Eligibility Criteria 2022

  • NEST BASIC : Passing out class 7th/ 08th
  • NEST-JUNIOR I: Students whose appearing/ Passing out class 9th/ 10th
  • NEST-JUNIOR II : Students whose appearing/ Passing out class 11th/ 12th (Sci), Dip Engg (1st & 2ndYr)
  • NEST SENIOR-I : Dip Engg(3rdYr), 1st Year & 2nd Year of BSc, BTech & MBBS students.
  • NEST SENIOR-II : 3rd Year & 4th Year of BSc, BTech & MBBS students:
  • NEST MASTER : 1st Year & Final Year of MSc, MTech & MD/MS students.

 

 

NEST Scholarships Application Process 2022

  • Just follow the below steps to apply for the NEST 2022.

Online Application

  • Step 1 : Go to the official website of NEST through the URL http://www.nest.net.in/
  • Step 2 : Click on the Application Form link and Select ‘Apply Online’ in the drop down list
  • Step 3 : Read the instructions carefully and Click Proceed for Registration button available in the bottom of the page
  • Step 4 : Fill the required fields to complete your Registration

Offline Application

  • Step 1 : Go to the link below to Download the Application Form
  • Step 2 : Fill up the application form correctly and paste your latest photograph in the space provided on it.
  • Step 3 : Send your filled up application form attached with a DD in favour of SEMCI INDIA payable at MUMBAI at the following address SEMCI INDIA, B-1, Piccadilly Flats, 57-J, Clare Road, Byculla, Mumbai-400008

  • NEST‐BASIC: Rs. 450/‐ only.
  • NEST‐JUNIOR‐I&II: Rs. 550/‐ only.
  • NEST‐SENIOR‐I&II: Rs. 650/‐ only.

NEST BASIC

  • Section‐I: Science (PCB)—30 Marks.
  • Section‐II: Maths—30 Marks.
  • Section‐III: English Grammar—30 Marks.
  • Section‐IV: GK (Hist, Civics, EVS)—30 Marks.
  • Total: 120 Questions for 120 Marks in 2 Hours.

 NEST JUNIOR‐I

  • Section‐I: Physics—25
  • Section‐II: Chemistry—25 Marks.
  • Section‐III: Biology—25 Marks.
  • Section‐IV: Maths—50 Marks.
  • Section‐V: English Grammar—25. Marks.
  • Section‐VI: GK (Hist, Civics, EVS)—25 Marks.
  • Total: 150 Questions for 150 Marks in 2 Hours.

NEST JUNIOR‐II

  • Section‐I: Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry)—50 Marks.
  • Section‐II: Maths—50 Marks. OR
  • Life Sciences (Botany & Zoology)—50 Marks.
  • Section‐III: English Grammar—50 Marks.
  • Section‐IV: GK (Hist, Civics, EVS, Diagrams/Graphics, Statistical, rithmetic & other Numerical Puzzles)—50 Marks.
  • Total: 200 Questions for 200 Marks in 2 Hours.

NEST SENIOR-I

  • Section‐I: Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry)—50 Marks.
  • Section‐II: Maths—50 Marks. OR
  • Life Science (Botany & Zoology)—50 Marks.
  • Section‐III: English Grammar—50 Marks.
  • Section‐IV: GK (Hist, Civics, EVS, Diagrams/Graphics, Statistical, Arithmetical & other Numerical Puzzles)—50 Marks.
  • Total: 200 Questions for 200 Marks in 2 Hours.

NEST SENIOR‐II

  • Section‐I: Any one of the subject groups, viz. A, B, C or D—50 Marks.
  • Section‐II: Physical Science (Physics & Chemistry)—50 Marks.
  • Section‐III: Life Science (Botany & Zoology)—50 Marks. OR
  • General Maths—50 Marks.
  • Section‐IV: English Grammar—50 Marks.
  • Section‐V: GK (History, Pol. Sci., Geography, Diagrams/Graphics, Statistical, Arithmetical & other Numerical Puzzles)—50 Marks.
  • Total: 200 Questions for 200 Marks in 2 Hours.

NEST MASTER

  • Section‐I: Any one of the subject groups, viz. A, B, C or D—60 Marks.
  • Section‐II: Physical Science (Physics & Chemistry)—40 Marks.
  • Section‐III: Life Science (Botany & Zoology)—40 Marks. OR
  • General Maths—40 Marks.
  • Section‐IV: English Grammar—30 Marks.
  • Section‐V: GK (History, Pol. Sci., Geography, Diagrams/Graphics, Statistical, Arithmetical & other Numerical Puzzles)—30 Marks.
  • Total: 200 Questions for 200 Marks in 2 Hours.

 

Test Centres

  • All major cities in India. However, your choice of any specific city for the test cannot be guaranteed, especially when there is any issue about public unrest, political rallies, natural calamity, pandemic, lockdown, etc. In this situation, the test will be conducted online on your own computer/laptop at home.
