CEPT Means Scholarship 2016-2017
CEPT University presenting the Scholarship for the Undergraduate (UG) Students who are admitted in the academic session 2016-17
CEPT Means Scholarship is means based scholarship given to the most suitable students for the full duration of the programme based on successful completion of each semesters full course work in first attempt

Eligibility Criteria for CEPT Means Scholarship 2016
CEPT Means Scholarship is open for only 1st year Undergraduate students admitted in B.Arch., B.I.D., B.C.T., and the B.U.D. programs in academic year 2016-17
Those students are eligible whose parents annual income should not below than Rs. Ten Lacs (Rs 10,00,000/-)
Selection Criteria CEPT Means Scholarship 2016
For the selection of candidates for CEPT Means Scholarship, a committee will be made.
The Committee to review applications and decide on disbursements
The committee comprises the Academic Director, the Registrar and the Chief Finance Officer of the University
Benefits Provided
This is a means based scholarship; the amount of scholarship is based on the student’s family income.
The candidates whose family income is less than or equal to Rs. 3.50 lacs per annum are eligible for 90% of fees paid
The candidates who family income is greater than Rs. 3.50 lac and less than or equal to Rs. 5.00 lacs per annum – 70% of fees paid
The candidates having annual income more than Rs. 5.00 lacs and less than or equal to Rs. 7.5lacs will be eligible for 50% of fees
Greater than Rs. 7.5 lacs and less than or equal to Rs. 10 lacs will get 30% of fees
Disbursement Criteria
All eligible applicants will be placed on a priority list in an ascending order of family income (lowest income first)
In case of more than one student having the same income level, their rank in the admission merit list will be used as 1st tie breaker and their percentage score in qualifying board exam will be used as 2nd tie breaker
First person on the priority list will be offered scholarship in the first slab; then the second person and so on, until the number of scholarships in that slab are exhausted
If any scholarship budget is left over, it will be utilized either in the same year for other student scholarship or will be carried over as emergency scholarship fund, as decided by the scholarship committee
Renewal of Scholarship:
Renewal of scholarship each year is subject to students completing full course-work (min 19 credits per semester) of past 2 semesters in first attempt
Suspension/Withdrawal of Scholarship:
Failure to complete full coursework in past 2 semesters will lead to non-renewal of scholarship. The scholarship will be withdrawn in case a serious disciplinary or plagiarism charge is proved against the beneficiary student
CEPT Means Scholarship Application Process:
First of all the students need to go to the financial aid page on the University website www.Cept.ac.in
The scholarship application Forms will be available in Student Services Offices (SSO) from 15th September 2016
Required Documents: (a) Copy of income tax return/form 16 / salary certificate of all earning members of family for Financial Year 2015-16 (Academic Year 2016-17); (b) Bank statement for last one year
CEPT Means Scholarship Important Dates
Availability of Application Forms: 15th September 2016 onwards
Last Date to Apply: 30th September 2016
Date of Result: 15th October 2016
Disbursement of Scholarship: 28th October 2016
