CSIR SCHEME FOR SCIENCE STUDENTS
CPYLS SCHEME
CSIR has launched a scheme called “CSIR Programme for Youth on Leadership in Science (CPYLS)”. The objective of the CYPLS Scheme is to:
- Attract the best young school students towards science through a unique ‘hand holding’ experience.
- Encourage young students to discover science as an exciting, rewarding and fulfilling career.
Who is Eligible?
Students who have appeared for secondary level examination (class X) in the year in question in various State Boards, CBSE and ICSE and are among the top 50 in the merit list, are eligible to apply for this scheme.
How to Apply?
If in the class X results, you find your name in the top 50 students in statewise CBSE list or in the State Board, contact the nearest CSIR laboratory or the laboratories at the addresses given in the advertisement.
Notifications for the programme are normally issued in the month of May.
