JNUEE, IGNOU OPENMAT, ICAR, NCHMCT JEE, AIAPGET – Last date to apply extended by NTA
Owing to the ongoing nationwide lockdown due to the COVID- 19 scare, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to extend the last dates of several Exams that are conducted under its wings. This will solve the worries of several students and parents who were stressed owing to the lockdown. The extended dates to fill the form were announced by the officials of NTA on April 30, 2020.
Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union Human Resource Development Minister also made this announcement from his official Twitter handle. It said that the NTA will be extending the last dates of several entrance exams held on a National level.
According to the updates issued by the NTA, the last date to fill the online application for the entrance exams such as Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE), Indira Gandhi National Open University Open Management Aptitude Test (IGNOU OPENMAT), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), & National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) has been extended till May 15, 2020. For the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET), the eligible students now have time till June 5, 2020, to apply for the exam.

Earlier on March 30, 2020 as well, the officials of NTA had announced extension of the dates of several upcoming Entrance exams in order to fill the online application form. It was done owing to the worries of parents and students as the first phase of lockdown due to Coronavirus pandemic was announced.
A lot of students who could not fill their application forms due to different reasons will benefit from this extension given by the NTA.
