PSG College of Technology was founded by the PSG & Sons’ Charities Trust in the year 1951. The college was started by the first principal Mr. G.R.Damodaran. The campus is spread across 45 acres of land and has 15 engineering and technology departments. There are about 48 full-time and part-time programs offered in the fields of science, engineering, and management. The degrees offered are B.tech, M.Tech, MS, and Ph.D. It is a recognized QIP center for Postgraduates and Ph.D. programs.

 

Mode of Admission

Admission to BE and B.Tech programs are through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling, which is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE). The college grants admission in the ME and M.Tech programs through the TNEA counseling by DoTE on the basis of GATE or TANCET scores.
