UPSC released Exam schedule for IES/ISS and CMS Exams 2022, check details
UPSC has released the exam dates for Indian Economic Service (IES), Indian Statistical Service(ISS), and Combined Medical Service (CMS) examinations. As per the notification IES and ISS exam will be conducted between June 24 to 26, 202 and CMS will be held on 17th July, 2022
The IES /ISS exam will be a 3 hours examination. The exam will be taken in two shifts , the first session will be from 9am to 12 noon, and the second session from 2pm to 5pm.
The IES and ISS are the administrative inter-ministerial civil service under Group A of the Central Civil Services. The registration process for IES/ISS happened between 6th April to 26th April, 2022.
The CMS examination will be of 2 hours duration and will also be conducted in two shifts, the first shift will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4 pm. The registration process of the CMS exam took place between April 6th to 26th, 2022. CMS exam is conducted for the recruitment of Medical Officers in various organizations under Government of India.
GPAT 2022 Result announced, check now!
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result of the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result by visiting the official site https://gpat.nta.nic.in/ . GPAT 2022 exam was held on 9th April 2022.
A total number of 53302 candidates registered for the GPAT 2022 exam, out of which, 50508 students appeared for the exam. The GPAT exam was conducted in 121 cities and 336 centers.
GPAT entrance exam is conducted for admission to the M.Pharm programs.
IGNOU begins Re-registration Process for July 2022 Session
Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the re-registration process for the July, 2022 session. All those candidates who want to enroll for the next semester can fill the re-registration form till June 30, 2022.
This re-registration process is only for those students, who are already pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the university and want to enroll for the next semester or the next year of a program.
Such students can re-register by visiting the online official portal https://ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login .
MPhil, PhD thesis submission date extended for another 6 months by UGC
UGC has extended the deadline for thesis submission of PhD students for another 6 months beyond 30th June, 2022. As per the official statement, in a meeting held on 6th May, 2022, UGC has decided to take this step for the researchers to help them compensate for the time lost during Covid-19 pandemic. This is the second time, the deadline for submission of thesis papers has been extended. Last time, the date was extended in the year 2020, when the pandemic had just hit.
UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar said, “ in view of lost time during COVID period, UGC approved that HEIs may give an extension of up to six months beyond 30 June 2022 for M.Phil./PhD. thesis submission on case-to-case basis after a review of student’s work.”
But this extension won’t be universal for all researchers. The extension will be given after reviewing and considering the research work done on a case to case basis.
