ICAI changed CA Exam Pattern 2019
ICAI CA 2019 Exam Pattern changed – The ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountancy) will conduct the examination of CA (Chartered Accountant) on 27th of May, 2019. The institute has made some changes in the pattern of paper this year.
The question paper will be having two parts. The Part I consist of 30 marks of MCQs (each carrying 1 to 2 marks) and Part II consist of descriptive type of questions of 70 marks.

The official notification mentioned that the candidates are required to write down their answers in respect of Part I of the paper in the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet by darkening the appropriate circle using HB pencil and Part II of the paper in the descriptive type answer book in the normal course.
New Pattern for ICAI CA Exam 2019
Intermediate Exam: As mentioned in the official notification of ICAI paper 2 will cover Corporate and Other Laws subject instead of covering Business Laws, Ethics and Communication.
And the subjects for paper 7 will be Enterprise Information System and Strategic Management instead of Information Technology and Strategic Management.

However, the subjects for Paper 4 and Paper 6 respectively Taxation and Auditing & Assurance will be same.

Final Exam: The subjects under Paper 4 and Paper 7 has changed. The Paper 4 will cover Corporate and Economics Laws subject instead of Corporate and Allied Laws. And the Paper 7 will cover International Taxation subject along with Direct Tax subject where it was earlier covering only Direct Tax Law subject.
However, the paper 6 has been removed and the subjects for Paper 3 and Paper 8 will be the same as earlier.
