Exam for CUCET and AIIMS MBBS on same date
CUCET and AIIMS MBBS Exam on same date – The candidates who had applied to both CUCET and AIIMS MBBS entrance exam are in a bit of trouble right now as the examination dates for both the entrance exam are colliding with each other. The candidates are in a dilemma this year as the entrance tests for admission in All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) as well as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2019 are scheduled on 25th and 26th of May, 2019.
The applicants from Kerala who are expected to write All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) entrance test as well as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) are more than a lakh in number.
However, the clashing of the examination dates of both the exams has put the candidates in such a dilemma that they can only sit in one of the entrance tests.
Around 3 lakh applicants have applied for the All India Institute of Medical Science entrance test to get admission in MBBS courses.
Excluding Wayanad and Pathanamthitta, all districts in Kerala will have centers for AIIMS entrance test.
In the state of Kerala, the CUCET will be held only in Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kochi, Kannur, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts.
This year, almost 1.3 lakhs of students are eligible to sit for the CUCET.
