Last Date of Registration for UGC NET and CSIR- UGC NET extended by NTA
UGC NET and CSIR-UGC NET Registration last date extended – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification to inform about the extension of last date of Online Application form of UGC NET and CSIR-UGC NET December 2019 exam till 15 October 2019. The eligible candidates who still wish to register for these exams need to visit the official website https://www.nta.ac.in/ in order to register for these exams.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) which was established in 2017 is incharge of conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is held in order to fill the posts of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor or Lecturer posts at thousands of colleges across the country. The UGC NET is held for 81 subjects such as Law, Psychology, Engineering, etc. The CSIR NET is held for Science subjects such as Physical Science, Chemical Science, Life Science, Mathematical Science and Earth Science.

The application process for this exam had opened on September 9, 2019. The candidates would be allowed to make corrections in their forms from October 18, 2019 to October 25, 2019. The CSIR NET is slated to take place on December 15, 2019. Whereas the UGC NET would take place from December 2 to 6, 2019.
