Revised schedule for SSC JE SI Stenographer, CHSL Exams 2021 released
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised schedule for the Junior Engineer (JE), Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL), stenographer grade C and D, Delhi Police sub-inspector (SI) recruitment exams 2021. Candidates who applied for these exams can check details on SSC’s official site, ssc.nic.in
According to SSC, the modification in the exam dates has been done due to assembly elections in states and union territories. The assembly elections will be held in — Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry from March 26.
The notification reads, “On October 10, 2020, the Commission had published a tentative Calendar of Examinations to be held during the timeline from October 1, 2021, to August 31, 2021. However, in view of the Assembly Elections in some States or Union Territories during March-April, 2021, the modifications have been necessitated in the schedule of various examinations”.
As per the notification released, junior engineer, tier-I exam 2020 which was earlier scheduled from March 22 to 25, is now being scheduled from March 22 to 24. Similarly, Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2019 has been shifted from March 26 to May 8.
The CHSL exam 2020 for candidates from West Bengal will be conducted on May 21, 22, 2021 while for rest of the states it will be held as per scheduled i.e. from April 12 to 27, The dates of stenographer grade C and D exams 2020 will be announced later.
