NEET 2019 Seat Allotment

NEET 2019 Seat Allotment – The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) have released the seat allotment letter for those candidates who were selected in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. DGHS has issued this letter on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee which in turn falls under the Union Health Ministry.

 

Those candidates who had qualified NEET 2019 and applied for the first round of counselling need to visit MCC’s official website in order to download their respective seat allotment letters. Before they download their letters, the shortlisted candidates would have to provide the option if they have accepted or rejected their seats.

 

The candidates who have accepted the letter need to visit the allotted colleges on a given day with the verified documents anytime before 5 pm on July 8, 2019. The candidates who do not accept it are eligible to apply for the next round of counselling. If they cancel the letter, the fees will not be refunded. 

 

Currently, there are a total of 4591 Medical seats (15% All India Quota) in 235 govt and Private Medical and Dental colleges across the country.

 

Steps to Download NEET 2019 Seat Allotment Letter

  • Visit MCC’s official website www.medicalcounseling.nic.in 
  • On the homepage, click on the link which reads ‘NEET 2019 Seat Allotment Letter.’
  • Enter your login credentials such as Roll No and Date of Birth in the given format. Verify the security captcha. 
  • Once you click the ‘Submit’ button, your Seat Allotment Letter would appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a print out of your allotment letter

 

The Allotment Letter contains details such as Name, Roll No, All India Rank, Category Rank, Percentile Score and Name of the Allocated College. 

 

The second round of NEET 2019 counselling will commence from July 9 to July 11, 2019. Choice Locking will be available from 3:00 PM onwards on July 12, 2019. NEET 2019 seat allotment list for the second round will be released on July 15, 2019
