NTA modified ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF(PhD) 2021 eligibility criteria
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again modified the eligibility criteria for ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admissions, AIEEA (PG) 2021 and AICE JRF/SRF(PhD) 2021.
As per the notification, students from non-accredited colleges/programmes can also appear for the AIEEA, AICE exams which will be held in September, 2021, provided they follow the specified rules. The NTA ICAR 2021 official notice even has the list of such colleges and programs that the students can refer to and then apply for AIEEA, AICE Exams. Candidates can check the official notice at icar.nta.ac.in.
The official notice reads, “Considering acute COVID-19 pandemic situation and its impact on applicant universities, the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board (ICAR) has decided that students from those non-accredited colleges/programmes (please refer list attached), where Self Study Reports (SSRs) for accreditation have been submitted to the Council on or before 17th August 2021 may appear in AIEEA to be conducted by NTA for the Academic Session 2021-22.”
NTA has earlier also partially modified the eligibility criteria, giving a one-time opportunity to certain students to appear for AIEEA, AICE exams. However, no other criteria were changed and the rest were to be followed as per the original NTA ICAR 2021 notice.
The ICAR AIEEA, ICAR AICE JRF/ SRF 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 7, 8 and 9 for UG and September 17 for PG and JRF/SRF(PhD) in online mode as a Computer-Based Test.
ICAR AIEEA (UG and PG) and ICAR AICE JRF/ SRF is a national level entrance tests conducted for admission to the UG, PG and Doctoral Programs of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (lCAR) for the academic session 2021-22.
