ICAI CA exam dates 2019 changed due to General Elections 2019

ICAI CA Exam 2019 postponed – The Chartered Accountants Examination which was to be held from 02nd May to 17th May 2019 is rescheduled. The new dates revised for the CA examinations are from 27th May 2019 to 12th June 2019.

 

The Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India has rescheduled the examination because of the General Election of year 2019.

The official statement issued by ICAI reads as “It is hereby notified for general information that in view of Elections to the 17th Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies across the country, spanning April-May, 2019, the Chartered Accountants Examinations initially scheduled from May 2, 2019 to May 17, 2019 stand rescheduled. The said examinations shall now be held from May 27, 2019 to June 12, 2019.”

 

The exam for the foundation course will held on 4th, 7th, 9th and 11th June 2019.

ICAI CA Exam Dates 2019 postponed

The exam for intermediate course exam will be scheduled in two groups in the following manner:

Group 1: 28th, 30th May and 01st, 03rd June 2019

Group 2: 06th, 08th, 10th and 12th June 2019

The Final course exam will be conducted in two groups in the following manner:

Group 1: 27th, 29th, 31st May and 02nd June 2019

Group 2: 04th, 07th, 09th and 11th June 2019

Member’s examination for Internal Taxation – Assessment Test will be on 04th and 07th June 2019.

No examination is scheduled on 05th June 2019 on account of Id-ul-Fitr, being a gazette holiday. The exams will be conducted over 139 exam centres across the country. Additionally, there are five foreign centres where the exam will be conducted.
