KEA sources said that the software to implement the online mode is ready, but they need time for mock runs. It cannot be tried straight on students because majority of them are from rural areas. It should be possible with CET 2020. An official said the test cannot be implemented without giving students time to practice and to prepare for the new version. This year, there is less than two months left, he added.
