72% of JEE Main 2019 January aspirants registered again to appear for JEE Main April Exam

JEE Main 2019 April Exam:  As per the reports of TOI, as many as 72% of the aspirants who appeared for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) held in January have registered again to appear in JEE Main 2019 April exam to improve their scores.

This is the first time that JEE Main Exam for admission to engineering and architecture course in IITs, NITs and other top technical education institutions is being conducted twice in a year. Candidates have an option to appear for either one of it or both exams. Candidates who appears for both exams, their best of the two exam scores will be considered while preparing the merit-list.

Over 9.34 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main 2019 April Exam. NTA will be conducting JEE Main April exam between April 7 – 20, 2019 in online mode (Computer Based Test)

JEE Main 1 results was declared in the month of January and a total of 8,816 candidates were placed in the 99-100 percentile category.
