NIEPVD Recruitment 2022: National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) has released the notification and invites online applications for the recruitment of 11 Professor, Associate Professor, Asst Professor and Other Posts to be filled on purely contractual basis (for 11 months) at NIEPVD, Dehradun (Uttarakhand) and Regional Center Chennai, (Tamil Nadu).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

(i) Professor Spl. Ed. (VI) (Consultant)

  • Ph.D in any area of special education with minimum 10 publications
  • Master Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and M.Ed. Special Education in VI with 55% marks/equivalent grade or an equivalent degree recognised by RCI
  • 10 years teaching experience out of which 5 years teaching at M.Ed level Valid CRR No. 

(ii) Associate Professor Spl. Ed. (VI) (Consultant)

  • Ph.D in any area of special education
  • Master degree in any discipline with 50% marks and M.Ed Special Education in VI with 55% marks/equivalent grade or an equivalent degree recognised by RCI
  • 08 years teaching experience of M.Ed Special Education (VI)/B.Ed Special Education (VI) or research
  • Valid CRR No.

(iii) Assistant Professor Spl. Ed. (VI) (Consultant)

  • Master degree in any discipline with 55% marks and M.Ed Special
  • Education in VI with 55% 45,000/- 11 Months marks/equivalent grade or an equivalent degree recognised by RCI
  • Valid CRR No 

 (iv) Rajbhasha Officer (Hindi) (Consultant)

  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi/English as compulsory/ elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/ elective subject at degree level. 

(v) Instructor Spl. Ed. (VI) (Consultant);

  • Master degree from a recognized University with D.Ed/B.Ed Special Education (VI) M.Ed Special Education in VI 

(vi) Account Assistant (Consultant)

  • Graduate from a recognized university 
  • Diploma in Computerized Accountancy from a reputed Institute or Diploma in Accountancy with knowledge of tally software.
  • Two year working experience in the related work.

(vii) Vocational Instructor (Computer Instructor) (Consultant):

  • Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) with equivalent degree
  • Any Degree with minimum of post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application/IT 

(viii) Vocational Instructor (Official Procedures) (Consultant):

  • BBA with minimum of Post Graduate Diploma in office administration/office procedure

(ix) Vocational Instructor (Orientation and Mobility) (Consultant):

  • Degree from a recognized University Bachelor/Diploma in O&M 3 years experience of imparting training in O&M. Valid CRR No.

  • The application duly completed in all respects should reach the Director, NIEPVD 116 Rajpur Road, Dehradun 248 001 on or before 21 days of publication of this advertisement in employment news. Applicants must superscribe the envelope with ‘Application for the post of    ___________
  • Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (nonrefundable) [Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates] drawn in favour of the Director, NIEPVD, payable at Dehradun must accompany with the application without which the application will not be considered. The Demand Draft should not be drawn before the date of issue of this advertisement.
  • Application received through email/late/incomplete will not be considered and the Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay after the last due date or any other reason(s) thereof or incomplete in any form or without the application fee, shall be summarily rejected.
