CTET FAQs 2020 – The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi for the recruitment of eligible teachers. Candidate interested in teaching in a central school or a Kendriya Vidyalaya or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is required to be CTET qualified. This qualification requirement is for classes I to VIII only.

When is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET Schedule?
As per the notification on the official website central teacher eligibility test (CTET 2020) is scheduled to be held on 05th July 2020.
Please tell the last date for Applying for Central Teacher Eligibility Test.
As per official notification the last date for online submission of application is 24th February 2020. Last Date for submission of fee through E-challan or Debit/Credit Card is 27th February 2020.
Please let me know the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Exam pattern?
All questions in CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET
- Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V
- Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

The CTET paper is conducted in two categories that is Paper I and Paper II
Both paper I and paper II has three basic subjects that are common to all these subjects are Child Development & Pedagogy, language I and Language II and few specific subjects which depends upon the subject opted by the teacher like Mathematics , Science, Social and environmental studies
