Infact, CBSE have received many queries in this regard and they have come out with a announcement that for making corrections in the Online Application forms CBSE will display the particulars of the Candidates on the JEE Main Website in the second week of January 2016. The candidates will get the opportunity to rectify the mistakes online.
For the benefit of candidates who have forgotten to put signatures, thumb impression, to obtain signature of parent/guardian, mailing address not mentioned on the form and to paste photographs duly attested are also advised to download duplicate copy of Confirmation Page, complete the same in all respect and forward the completed form to the JEE(Main) Unit.
CBSE had notified that for information of the aspirants of JEE Main that they should periodically visit the website of JEE(Main) i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in for rectification of the particulars for admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit/rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to school Board/Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.
