SSC has started Online Applications for Combined Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2018. Candidates can apply upto 19th November 2018. Online Exam will conduct in January 2019. Basic Details about SSC JHT 2018

  • Name of Exam: Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, 2018
  • Details of Vacancies: Vacancies will be determined in due course. There will be recruitment on Following Posts under SSC JHT Examination 2018:
  • Post Code A: Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)
  • Post Code B: Junior Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board)
  • Post Code C: Junior Translator in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ)
  • Post Code D: Junior Translator/Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT
  • Post Code E: Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Offices
  • Post Code F: Junior Translator/Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have not yet adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT
  • Post Code G: Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute (CHTI)

SSC Junior Translator Vacancy 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship

  • A candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
  • A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Exam, but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Govt. of India

 
Age Limit (as on 01st January 2019)

  • Candidates age should not exceed 30 years. There will be Age Relaxation of 3 Years for OBC Candidates & 5 Years for SC/ ST Candidates.

 
Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2019) required to apply for  SSC Junior Translator Vacancy 2018

For post codes A to D:

  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with
  • Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; OR
  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with
  • English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

 
For post code E:

  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

 
For post Code F

  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.
  • Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level

 
For post Code G

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Master’s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute

SSC Junior Translator Vacancy 2018 Pay Scale

  • For Post Code A, B, C, D, F: Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400)
  • For Post Code E: Level-7 (Rs.44900-142400)
  • For Post Code G: Level-8 (Rs.47600-151100)

 
Application Fee for  SSC Junior Translator at SSC

  • Candidates has to pay Fee Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank.
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST, Persons with disability and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee as per rules/instructions of Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India
  • Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances

 
Selection Process for  SSC Junior Translator Vacancy 2018

  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I & Paper-II of the examination only
  • Allocation of candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their merit position and the option exercised by them.

 

SSC Junior Translator Vacancy 2018  Application Process

  • Applications must be submitted only in the online mode. Candidates may note that only online application will be accepted at http://ssconline.nic.in only
  • Candidates can Apply under Online Mode from the Official Website (http://ssconline.nic.in or http://ssconline2.gov.in). Online submission of the application for SSC JHT 2018 can be made from 22 October 2018 to 19 November 2018
  • Candidates are required to have Valid Email Id & Mobile No as Important Details like Registration No. & Password will be sent to this E-mail Id or Mobile No.
  • Candidates should have 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation Mark sheets to fill Online Application Correctly. Scanned Copy of Recent Photography & Signature (In Prescribed Size)
  • Candidates need to take Print Out of Filled Application Form for future Reference
