About MBA Program at ABV-IIITM Gwalior

 

  • The Institute offers a four-semester (2 Years) programme Master of Business Administration (MBA) . The focus of the programme is to integrate IT with business processes. The programme offers various courses falling under the specialized areas of Marketing Management, Technology & Operations Management, IT & Systems, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management of Social Sector, and Business Analytics.The course has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of present day business trends and industrial outlook.

  • Last date of deposit of applicable application fee: 30th March, 2024 (Sat)
  • Last date of receipt of filled-in offline application form: 30th March, 2024 (Sat)
  • Date of selection process for eligible candidates: 4th & 5th April, 2024 (Thu & Fri)
  • Date of announcement of results for provisionally selected candidates: 8th April, 2024 (Mon)
  • Last Date of deposit of non-refundable admission fee by provisionally shortlisted candidates: 12th April, 2024 (Fri)

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates having the following qualifications are eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme at the ABV-IIITM Gwalior.
    • A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) in any discipline awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared deemed-to-be-University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
    • The Bachelor’s degree obtained by the candidate must have (a) Mathematics/Statistics as one of the courses, and (b) a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
    • A valid CAT score.

Note: 

  • Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, such candidates, if selected, are required to submit the degree certificate before registration for the programme. Failing which their admission shall stand cancelled
  • A relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPA for the SC/ST/PwD candidates.

 

Application Process

  • The applicants are required to submit the completely filled-in offline application form available at institute website along with appropriate fee details and relevant enclosures through speed post to the office of the Head of the Department, Department of Management Studies, ABV-IIITM Gwalior (M.P.)-474015 latest by 30th March, 2024. The institute is not responsible for any kind of postal delays.

 

Application Fees

  • For General and OBC candidates : Rs 1000/- 
  • For SC/ST/PH/Female candidates : Rs. 500/-

 

Selection Process

  • All the eligible applicants based on the prescribed eligibility criteria and whose hard copies of applications have been received till 30th March, 2024 are required to report at MDP center, ABV-IIITM Gwalior on 4th April, 2024 at 9:30 AM for further selection process.
  • No separate communication will be sent to the applicants. 
  • The eligible applicants are required to bring the following documents in original and two self-attested photocopies.
    • a) Mark-sheet of all examinations passed [10th, 12th, Graduation (all years/semesters)]
    • b) Conversion formula if result were in the form of Grades/CGPA.
    • c) Valid CAT Score Card i.e. 2023
    • d) SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PH Certificate (if applicable)
    • e) Aadhaar Card and 2 recent passport size photographs
  • In general, the selection process for eligible candidates may comprise of Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), extempore, writing comprehension, etc.
