WBJEEB cancelled the WBJEE JECA 2020 and WBJEE JELET 2020
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the notification on the official website to inform about the cancellation of Joint entrance for lateral entry in B.Tech (JELET) as well as Joint Examination for Masters in Computer Applications (JECA) 2020. The authority has cancelled the WB JECA and WB JELET exam 2020 due to the situation brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per the notification, the admissions to the MCA and the lateral entry to the B.Tech and B.pharm program will be conducted based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examinations and will conduct Centralized online e-counselling for already registered candidates.
The authorities shall conduct admissions into lateral entry courses on the basis of the following qualifying examinations:
- Diploma, or
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)t
Admissions to MCA Course will be based on the following qualifying examinations:
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Sc) or
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), or
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), or
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A), or any other equivalent degree exams
The authorities will be releasing a detailed notification for the online counselling for the admissions based on the JECA and JELET 2020 examinations soon on the official website.
