UPSC deferred the Combined Medical Services Exam 2021 Notification

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has deferred the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Exam 2021 Notification due to rising cases of COVID-19 in the country. The official notification for UPSC CMS exam 2021 was scheduled to be released on May 5 2021.  As per the UPSC Calendar, the Combined Medical Services 2021 examination was scheduled to be held on August 29 2021 across various states and country.

The official notification by the UPSC reads, “The Combined Medical Services Examination, 2021 scheduled to be notified on May 5, 2021, stands deferred till further notice.”

The new dates for UPSC CMS Exam 2021 notification will be announced after reviewing the covid-19 situation. 

UPSC CMS exam is conducted for the recruitment of Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service, General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council, General duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, and North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Candidates who want to apply for the CMS examination should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS examination 2021. Candidates yet to appear for the final MBBS examination are also eligible to apply for the examination.
