NTA revised the scheduled for UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 exams
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 exams. As per the notification, the UGC NET 2021 Exam will now be held from October 17 to 25. Earlier, it was to be held from October 6-8 and October 17-19. The detailed date sheet will be uploaded soon
The UGC NET Exam dates have been changed due to clashes with some exams scheduled to be held on October 10, 2021. The admit card for the same will be released soon on the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website by following the steps given below.
- Step 1: Visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘admit card 2021’
- Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page
- Step 4: Log-in using the registration number
- Step 5: Admit card will appear on your screen
- Step 6: Download and take a print out of the same.
The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) exam is conducted for the posts of Junior Research Fellowship or eligibility for Assistant Professor or both at Indian University.
the examination will be conducted in two shifts. First Shift: 09.00 am to 12.00 pm: Second Shift: 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm. The test will consist of objective-type questions. There are two papers for each subject. Paper 1 consists of 50 MCQs and paper 2 consists of 100 MCQs. The duration of the exam is 3 hrs. There will be no break between papers.
According to the latest rules, to pass the test, candidates need to score at least 40 per cent marks (35 per cent for reserved category candidates). Among the qualified candidates, only the top 6 per cent will be declared pass. Those who clear the exam are eligible for the post of assistant professor or junior research fellowship (JRF).
