NTA revised Exam date for UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycle
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the revised exam dates for UGC NET Exam 2021 for December 2020 and June 2021 cycle. As per the official notice, the exam will now be held from October 6 to October 8, 2021, and October 17 to 19, 2021 at different Exam Centers across India. Candidates can check the new exam dates form the official site of NTA on nta.ac.in.
Earlier, the examination for UGC NET Exam 2021 for December 2020 and July 2021 was scheduled from October 6 to 11, 2021
The official notice reads, “the Agency has come to know from the student community that the October 10 examination date is clashing with some major Examinations that also have been scheduled for that day. With a view to ensure larger participation of candidates and to remove the hardship caused to them, it has been decided to reschedule some of the dates of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles.”
The Application process is therefore being reopened for the new applicants. Candidates can register till September 5, 2021 and can pay the application fee till 6th September 2021 (upto 11:50 pm). The correction of online application form can be done from September 7 to 12, 2021. The admit card can be downloaded through the official site of UGC NET in due course of time.
The online exam will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of two papers, i.e., Paper-1 and Paper-2. Both the papers will be conducted in a single session, i.e., there will be no break between Paper 1 & Paper 2.
UGC NET 2021 Exam will be conducted for 81 subjects to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor only in various Indian Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions recognized by UGC.
