NTA released subject wise Exam schedule for University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2023

 

UGC NET December 2023 Subject wise exam schedule – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject wise and shift wise exam scheduled for University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2023. As per the exam schedule released on the official website, UGC NET examination for English and History will be conducted on December 6 in shift 1 and shift 2, respectively. The exam for the commerce subject will be held on December 7 in shift 1 and the exam for computer science and application will be conducted on December 7 in shift 2. The Public Administration and Philosophy examination will be held on December 8 in shift 2. The exam for Political Science will take place on December 11 in shift 1 and for Hindi, the exam will be held on December 11 in shift 2. UGC NET 2023 December exam is scheduled to be conducted from December 6 to 22, 2023. The intimation of the city of exam centre will be released on the official website 10 days before the examination. The admit cards for the same will be released in the first week of December 2023

The examination will be a completely computer-based test in two shifts – First Shift from 09.00 am to 12.00 pm and Second Shift from 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm. The duration of the exam will be three hours. The questions in Paper I intend to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. Paper II is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge. Paper 1 will carry 100 marks while Paper 2 will carry 200 marks. 

UGC NET exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for Lectureship/ Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Colleges and Universities of the country.
