UGC NET and CSIR NET Last Date for Application Form

UGC NET and CSIR NET Last Date for Application – The online registrations for NET will conclude next week. This is the first time that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is organising the CSIR NET exam in addition to the UGC NET.

NTA is a government agency that was constituted by the Indian Government solely for conducting Entrance Exams of different levels such as UG, PG, etc.

The CSIR NET is slated to take place on December 15, 2019 and UGC NET will take place from December 2 to 6, 2019. The results of both these exams are slated to be released on December 31, 2019. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from November 9, 2019. 

 

The NTA will allow the registered candidates to make changes in the respective online forms a week after the registration process ends. The editing window for the application forms will remain open from October 18 to 25, 2019. Candidates have time till October 10, 2019 to complete the payment process through online modes.  

 

The NTA conducts the NET exam two times in a year in order to determine a candidate’s eligibility for assistant professorship or lectureship as well as the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). According to the guidelines laid down by the UGC, those who apply for JRF are eligible for the lectureship post as well. 

 

The CSIR NET is conducted for a total of five subjects whereas the UGC NET is conducted for 81 subjects.
