Application Process for UGC NET 2023 December Exam begins, Apply now
UGC NET 2023 December Application Process – National Testing Agency has released the notification for University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2023 examination on the official website. The application process for the same has already begun. Candidates who wish to appear for UGC NET 2023 December exam can apply online at the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in till October 28, and fee payment window will remain open till October 29, 2023 (up to 11:50 PM).
NTA will conduct the UGC NET December 2023 exam from December 6 to 22, 2023. UGC-NET exam is conducted for posts of Junior Research Fellowship or eligibility for Assistant Professor or both at Indian University.
Steps to Apply for UGC NET 2023 December Exam

- On the homepage, click on the link which reads ‘Apply for UGC NET 2023 December Exam’
- A new page will open
- Fill in the required information and register for the examination.
UGC NET exam 2023 will be a completely computer-based test in two shifts – first shift from 09.00 am to 12.00 pm and second shift from 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm. The duration of the exam will be three hours. The questions in Paper I intend to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. Paper II is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge. Paper 1 will carry 100 marks while Paper 2 will carry 200 marks.
Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed are eligible to apply for UGC NET 2023 Exam
