Age Limit for Applicants removed for IIT JEE Advance 2019, Check Details

Supreme Court Removes Age Barrier to appear in IIT JEE Advance 2019 – Major Boost for engineering aspirants! Supreme Court has passed interim order to remove age limit to appear in IIT JEE Advance 2019.

 

Supreme Court order reads, “Candidates who are 25 years and older will also be eligible to apply and appear for the JEE Main 2019 and JEE Advanced 2019 engineering entrance exams.” With this move candidates of all ages who were earlier not permitted to appear for the examination may now do so. As to how the order would be implemented, the clarity is still awaited

 

The Supreme Court has only issued interim order which enables candidates to register and appear for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exam. Final order of the Supreme Court is still pending.

 

JEE Advanced is the engineering entrance test for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). To be eligible to appear for JEE Advance, candidates have to qualify the JEE Main examination. This year IIT Roorkee will be conducting JEE Advance 2019 on May 19.

 

NTA has already announced the JEE Main January 2019 result. Registration Process for JEE Main 2019 April is expected to start from February 8, 2019. The Exam for JEE Main 2019 April is schedule to be held between April 6 to 20, 2019.
