SSC CHSL 2023 Application Process begins

 

Application Process for SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2023 begins 

SSC CHSL 2023 Application Process – Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2023. The application process for the same has begun on May 9, 2023 and will continue till June 31, 2023 (up to 11:00 pm). The last date for making online fee payment is June 10, 2023 (up to 11:00 pm). 

Candidates can apply for the same through online mode at SSC official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. The application fee for unreserved category is Rs. 100/- and women applicants, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board to apply for SSC CHSL 2023. The minimum age limit for candidates to apply is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 27 years.

 

Steps to Apply for SSC CHSL 2023 Exam

  • Step 1: Visit the official website, ssc.nic.in
  • Step 2: On the homepage, register using email id
  • Step 3: Click on ‘apply’ in the main tab
  • Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page
  • Step 5: Click on CHSL and click on ‘apply’
  • Step 6: Fill form, upload documents
  • Step 7: Make payment

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerks, Junior Secretariat Assistants, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. The Selection to these posts is done on the basis of a computer-based test (Tier-I), descriptive paper (Tier-II), and skill/ typing test.

SSC CHSL Tier-I examination will be conducted in online mode (Computer based) in the month of July-August 2023 at various centres across the country. Candidates who will qualify the Tier I exam will be eligible to appear for the Tier-II exam (Descriptive Paper). Date of Tier-II Examination will be announced later by the commission.
