SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 exam postponed due to COVID-19 Pandemic
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 exam due to surge in Covid-19 cases across the country.
The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam was scheduled to be held from May 29 to June 7, 2021 and the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam was scheduled to be held from May 21 and 22 for candidates who had opted for their centres in West Bengal.
The Commission has also deferred the release of the notification for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Exam 2021. The notification regarding the examination date was earlier scheduled to be released in the first week of May 2021.
Earlier, SSC had announced the postponement of paper-II of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and ASI in CISF Exam 2019 which was scheduled to be held on May 8 amidst the rising number of coronavirus in the country.
The commission in its notice has said that it will announce the fresh dates of postponed examinations and release the notification of examination in due course after assessing the situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
