New Exam Date for Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test announced

Sikkim Education Department has announced the new exam date for Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test Exam 2021. As per the notification released, the examination would be conducted in the state on March 27, 2021.

The Sikkim TET notification was released on August 19, 2019, and the last date to apply was till September 15, 2019. The examination was earlier scheduled to be held on April 11, 2020 which was postponed due to the pandemic.

Candidates who will appear for the examination can check the official notice on the official site of the Human Resource Development Department, Sikkim on sikkimhrdd.org.

The examination would be conducted in two shifts. First shift for Paper I and second shift for Paper-II. The STET Level 1 exam for Primary Teacher will be held in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and STET Level 2 exam for Graduate Teacher will be held in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. The exam will test the candidate’s knowledge on issues related to child development and pedagogy along with subject knowledge such as Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. There will be no negative marking in the examination.

As per notification, the new admit card will be issued to candidates through email. Only approved applicants, who submitted their application in hard-copy along with proof of fee payment will be receiving the Admit Cards.
