Samsung India announces 560 Scholarship for IIT, NIT students from JN – Samsung India has announced 560 scholarships for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) students under its Samsung Star Scholar program for the academic year 2019-20. Under this program, scholarships of up to Rs. 2 lakh for one academic year is being offered to meritorious JNV students pursuing a full term B.Tech/Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) course in any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in India
Samsung India has started accepting applications for Samsung Star Scholar Program for the academic year 2019-2020. The last date for submission of application form for this program is December 10, 2019.
Out of 560 scholarships planned for the year 2019-20, 150 are expected to be for new applicants and rest 410 to be granted to students for a renewal of their existing scholarship
The selection for first year applicants will be based on their All India Rank (AIR) in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2020. While to get a renewal of the scholarship for the 2nd to 4th years, the applicant is required to maintain a Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CPGA) rating of 5 or above.
