Punjab University Entrance Test for Integrated Law courses rescheduled

PU Entrance Test for Integrated Law courses rescheduled – The entrance test for B.A/B.Com. LL.B.(Hons) 5 years integrated course has been rescheduled by the Punjab University. Now, the online application form for the examination and the prospectus will be available from 15th of April, 2019, on the official website of the university.

The entrance examination was clashing with the Common Law Admission (CLAT). “Earlier, the exam date was rescheduled because it was clashing with the Lok Sabha elections, scheduled on 19th of May, 2019, in Chandigarh. So, “the entrance test date has been changed again because of the CLAT which is a national-level test and we have to think about the interests of the students first”, said Parvinder Singh, controller of examinations (CoE), Panjab University.

In the meantime, the last date to apply for the CLAT online has also been extended to 15th of April, 2019. CLAT, being a common entrance examination for the admission in the National Law Universities of India, is the first choice of law aspirants nationwide. Moreover, 31 private universities also accept CLAT scores.

Furthermore, the entrance examination conducted for the admission in the UG courses has also been rescheduled by the Punjab University.

Now, the entrance test for PU-CET (UG) will be held on 28th of April, 2019 to 30th of April, 2019 and the online application form and the prospectus will be available from 5th of April, 2019 on the official website of the university.

Also, this year too, the online admissions for the Punjab University will be conducted by the Bhopal based firm, which has been conducting the online admissions for the university from the last two years.
