Application deadline for Special OJEE 2020 for B.Tech extended, check here for a new date
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has extended the application deadline for the Special OJEE 2020 Examination for admission to B.Tech program. As per the notification, candidates will now be able to apply for Special OJEE 2020 till June 30, 2020 and the online application fee for the same can be submitted till July 5, 2020.
Recently, the committee has announced that it will conduct 2nd/Special OJEE for such students who wish to take admission in B.Tech program in the state but miss JEE Main exam held by National Testing Agency (NTA).
According to an official notification, the Special OJEE 2020 is being conducted due to the time constraint. The exams are being held as an integral part of the OJEE 2020 exams – a Special Entrance Examination for the admissions to the 1st year B.Tech courses of all the Engineering Colleges in Odisha.
OJEE Special exam is being held to fill vacant seats left out after 1st phase OJEE counselling only for those students, who have not been/ are not able to appear in the JEE Main 2020 examination due to any reason.
The exam date for OJEE 2020 has not been announced yet. The committee will announce the exam date only after assessment of the situation after June 30, 2020.
The examination for the B.Tech will be a Computer Based-Test (CBT).
