UGC NET Certificate To Be Issued By NTA

NTA to issue UGC NET Certificates – From now onwards the National Testing Agency would be releasing the certificates of University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC – NET). The candidates who had appeared for this year’s UGC NET exam conducted in the month of June can expect their certificates within one month.

Vineet Joshi, who is the director of NTA while talking to media stated that the NTA which is responsible for conducting NET on the behalf of UGC, has been made an in charge of issuing the NET certificates. Around 9 lakh eligible candidates had appeared for the June edition of UGC NET exam. 

 

The results of UGC NET that took place in June were declared on July 12, 2019. More than 60,000 candidates have cleared this exam successfully. They are now eligible for the post of Lectureship in different subjects across thousands of colleges across the country and the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). 4756 candidates who cleared this exam are eligible for both the Lectureship as well as JRF posts.

 

As of now, the registration process of the December edition of NET exam is currently going on. The exam will take place from December 2 to 6, 2019. 

 

Apart from UGC NET, the NTA has also been made an in charge of conducting the National Eligibility Test for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The registration for the same is also going on and the exam would take place in December.
