Revised Exam Date for NIPER Joint Entrance Exam 2020 announced
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmedabad has announced the revised exam date for its Joint Entrance Examination (NIPER JEE) 2020. As per the official notification the examination will now be held on September 28, 2020. Earlier the entrance exam was scheduled to be conducted from June 14 but was postponed to July 25, 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
NIPER JEE is a national level entrenched exam for admission to 820 seats in Masters in Pharmacy (MPharm), Masters of Science (MS Pharm), Masters of Technology (MTech Pharm) and PhD programs offered by the Institutes in its Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajiput, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Raebareli, and SAS Nagar campuses.
The exam is conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. The duration of the exam is two-hour and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong attempt.
