National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2021 exam postponed

The Central Government has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2021 exam for two months. Centre in its affidavit informed the Supreme Court that it has decided to postpone post-graduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2021, which will be now held on January 10 and 11, 2022.  As per the centre, they have made this decision to provide ample time to the candidates to prepare for the entrance examination under the revised scheme.

Earlier, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) announced to conduct NEET SS 2021 on November 13 and 14, 2021.

The response from the Central Government before the apex court comes following a plea filed by 41 Postgraduate level Doctors, who had approached the court challenging the abrupt ‘last-minute changes’ in the exam pattern of NEET SS 2021

Candidates who are in possession of a recognized post-graduate medical Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate (MD/MS/DNB) or an equivalent recognized qualification are eligible to appear for the NEET SS 2021.
