MCI Extends Validity Period of NEET Result

Neet Result Now Valid for Three Years – Here is the great news for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) aspirants who wish to pursue medicine courses overseas. Now, all of them have a reason to smile as the Medical Council of India (MCI) has extended the time period or you could say the validity period of the NEET result up to three years.

Now, the NEET result will be considered valid for a spell of three years from the time of its declaration.

This is a very great initiative taken by Medical Council of India, permitting the aspirants to study any medical courses like MBBS in a foreign medical institution.

For every candidate aspiring to study medicine, even overseas, it is mandatory to clear NEET.

As of now, The NEET result was only valid for a time period of one year, which indeed created a lot of difficulty for students wish to complete their undergraduate medical course abroad, especially the ones who chose to study MBBS in the Philippines because the country requires to complete one year of pre-medical course. And the actual medical studies begin from the second year. However, there won’t be any validity of the NEET result by then. Therefore, they have to come back to India to appear in the NEET again.

This caused a lot of pressure on the pockets of parents as it was very expensive and psychologically draining for students. Now, this change will draw attention of many young aspirants and would change the mind of parents who were earlier unwilling to opt for the Philippines.
