Registration of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 begins
National Testing Agency has begun the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 on the official website, ntaneet.nic.in from April 6, 2022. The Application process will conclude on May 6, 2022. successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-banking/UPI is May 7, 2022 (up to 11:50 pm). All those candidates interested to pursue undergraduate medical courses in medical institutions in India can apply for NEET 2022 only through online mode at the official website.
An Application Fee of Rs. 1600 (General Category), Rs. 1500 (General-EWS/ OBC-NCL* and SC/ST/PwD/ and Third gender candidates are required to pay Rs. 900. The fee for NRI candidates is Rs 8,500.
NEET 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2022 in offline mode on in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Steps for NEET 2022 Registration
- Step-1: Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate should provide the required details while filling the Online Application Form.
- Step 2: The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, choosing the Question Paper medium and Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents
- Step-3 : Make payment of fee using a suitable mode of payment.
Note: All the steps mentioned above can be done together or at separate times
The duration of examination will be 200 minutes (3 hrs. 20 minutes). The medical entrance test will comprise of four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology. Each subject will consist of two sections with internal choices in one section. While Section A will consist of 35 questions, section B will have only 15 questions. Out of the 15 questions from Section B, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions.
Candidates are also advised to download and install the ‘SANDES’ application as a secondary channel to receive time-to-time notifications from NTA regarding the examination.
