NEET 2019 Number of aspirants increased – As per Times of India report, this year the number of aspirants for NEET 2019 has increased by nearly two lakhs, a growth of 14.4% from last year.
 
The Number of candidates registered for NEET 2019 is 15.19 lakh. Last year i.e. for NEET 2018 the number of candidates registered was 13.26 lakhs. Major factor behind the increased number of registration can be due to the Supreme Court decision to allowed the aspirants above the age of 25 years to appear in the NEET UG 2019
 
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 is conducted for admission to various Courses in India in Medical/Dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
 
It is the only national level medical entrance exam for providing admission in MBBS, BDS & Ayush Courses offered by all Indian Medical Colleges, except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
 
NEET 2019 exam is schedule to be held on May 5, 2019 in offline mode (Pen and Paper Test) and would be conducted in English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Oriya and Kannada.
