CEE Kerala announced revised exam date for Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical (KEAM) 2021
The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination Kerala has announced the revised exam date for Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical (KEAM) 2021. As per the revised schedule, the exam will now be held on August 5, 2021.
Earlier the KEAM 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on July 24 but was postponed as its date was clashing with the recently announced dates for the third session of Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) Main 2020.
The schedule was finalised following a discussion held by Higher Education Minister R. Bindu and Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) A. Geetha on Tuesday.
The examination will be held across 415 centres in Kerala and others in Dubai, Mumbai, and New Delhi. While the CEE has obtained clearance for the Dubai and Mumbai centres, confirmation of the availability of two schools in Delhi was expected soon. Around 1.5 lakh students have applied for the examination this year.
The KEAM exam is conducted every year for admission to BTech, BArch, Pharmacy, and Medical related courses in the higher educational institutes across Kerala. Candidates who clear the exam will then appear for the counselling sessions to finalise their admissions.
