JOSAA 2019 Registration Process begins – The process for getting admission into IITs has begun from June 16, 2019. Those candidates who have successfully cleared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE ) Mains or JEE (Advanced) 2019 need to start registering themselves on the official website of JOSAA to apply for courses and colleges they want.
The candidates can register themselves for academic programme of their choice till June 25 up to 5 pm. The seat allotment programme will be open until July 9. The JEE Advanced qualified candidates need to register themselves for Joint Seat Allocation Authority or JOSAA at its official website www.josaa.nic.in
The eligible candidates who wish to secure admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIESTs and several engineering institutions which are funded by the government – need to register themselves for seat allotment process first.
Those who have appeared for Architecture Aptitude Test or AAT 2019 – for them, the registration process will begin from June 21, 2019, onwards.
Those candidates who had appeared for JEE (Mains) 2019 and have a valid score card are eligible to appear for admission into multiple NITs. While those who had appeared for JEE (Advanced) 2019 are eligible for admission into IITs through Joint seat allocation process.
JOSAA will release the Mock Seat Allocation 1 on June 22 after candidates choose their choice of colleges and courses by June 21. The body will close down the admission process for NITs and IITs on June 25. The admission will be granted to candidates on their rank basis.
It is compulsory for aspiring candidates to fill the registration form to get admission into India’s premier educational institutions. If he/she fails to do so within the given time limit, then they will not be eligible to get admission in the current academic year.
After registration, JOSAA will start the counselling process. Once the counselling is done, the candidate will have to get the document verification process done and pay the fees to get their admission confirmed.
