Registration Date for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2022 for Class extended

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has extended the registration deadline for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2022 for class 9 admission. As per the notification candidates can now apply for JNV Class 6 Selection test till December 15, 2021. Earlier the last date to apply was November 30 2021. 

JNVST 2022 for admission to class 6th in all JNVs for the academic session 2022-23 is scheduled to be conducted on April 30, 2022 at 11.30 am. The result of JNVST 2022 is expected to be announced by June 2022.

Candidate studying in Class-V for the whole of the academic session 2021-22 in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools or ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where he/she is seeking admission and are born before 01-05-2009 and after 30-04-2013 (both dates are inclusive) are eligible to apply for JNVST 2022

Only the candidates from the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply for admission. At present, there are 661 Vidyalayas sanctioned in 27 States and 08 Union Territories.

The selection test would be conducted in one phase for all the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas or JNVs. The test would be conducted for a duration of two hours. The test would be held for 100 marks and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions.
