JEE Main 2024 Registration Process – The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be concluding the online registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 for session 1 (January) soon. All interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied for the JEE Main 2024 can apply online at the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in/. on or before November 30, 2023 up to 9:00 p.m. and pay their registration fee on the same day till 11:50 p.m.
Candidates are required to pay the application fee of INR 1000 (Male unreserved/ OBC/ EWS category), INR 800 (Female unreserved/ OBC/ EWS category) and INR 500 (SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender category) respectively.
The JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be conducted between January 24 and February 1. The city intimation slips are expected to be released in the second week of January 2024. The admit cards will be released on the NTA website before 3 days of the actual date of exam. The exam will be held in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech, B. Arch and B. Planning) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/ Universities funded/ recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
Steps to apply for JEE Main 2024
- Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
- On the homepage, click the link which reads, “Register for JEE Main 2024”
- Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number
- Log-in using the Application Number and pre-created Password
- Fill the Application form and upload the required documents
- Make payment, submit the form Application Form and download the confirmation page.
