Registration dates of JEE Advanced 2019 extended for Odisha Students

JEE Advanced 2019 Registration Date Extended for Odisha Students – Keeping in view the consequent of severe cyclone Fani affects in Bhubaneswar, Puri and some other coastal cities of Odisha, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has extended the last date of registration for JEE Advanced 2019 Examination for Odisha students till May 14, 2019 and has communicated  the same to the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) of Odisha, Bishnupada Sethi.

 

On Tuesday, Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik has urged the HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to postpone JEE Advanced 2019 online registration by at least 10 days keeping in view the aftermaths of cyclone Fani.

 

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also expressed its desire to HRD Ministry to create an online registration facility at IIT Bhubaneswar so that the students who have qualified for JEE Advanced do not face problem to registered themselves for the Examination as they may not have access to the internet due to the effects of cyclone Fani

HRD letter to SRC reads, “I am happy to mention that in honour of the same, the Institute has established a special help desk since 8th May morning at the permanent campus of IIT Bhubaneswar to facilitate on-line registration of the qualified candidates”.

 

The Institute has also arranged for daily bus service from the city to IIT campus and back, from May 8 itself for the convenience of the students.
