JEE Advanced 2019 – Application process from 1st week of May 2019

JEE Advanced 2019 – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the information about JEE Advanced 2019 examination on its official website. As per the notification released on the official website, IIT Roorkee will be conducting the JEE Advanced 2019 exam on May 19, 2019. The application process for the same is expected to begin from 1st week of May 2019 soon after the result of JEE Main 2019 is declared.

 

According to the notification, top 2,24,000 candidates from JEE Main  will be eligible to appear for the exam.

 

IIT Roorkee also released the information regarding exam dates, eligibility, registration fee, application process and more regarding JEE Advanced 2019.

 

JEE Advanced 2019 Exam will be conducted for admission to the following courses

  • B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) – 4 years
  • B.S. (Bachelor of Science) – 4 years
  • B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) – 5 years
  • Dual Degree B.Tech.-M.Tech – 5 years
  • Dual Degree B.S. – M.S. – 5 years
  • Integrated M.Tech. – 5 years
  • Integrated M.Sc. – 5 years

 

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2019

Indian citizens (including PIO and OCI candidates) have to qualify 5 criteria to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2019 examination

  • Should be among the top 2,24,000 candidates in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2019.
  • Should be born on or after 1 October, 1994. Five years relaxation is given to SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
  • Should not have appeared in JEE Advanced in 2017 or earlier.
  • Should have appeared in class XII examination for the first time in 2018 or 2019.
  • Should not have accepted admission at any of the IITs earlier

 

JEE Advanced 2019 Registration

  • The online application forms would release on jeeadv.ac.in after JEE Main 2019 final result and rank is released in April

 

Registration Fee

For Indians (including PIO/OCI)

  • Female Candidates (all categories): Rs 1300 + GST
  • SC St PwD Candidates: Rs 1300 + GST
  • For all other candidates: Rs 2600 + GST

 

Foreign Nationals

  • Candidates from SAARC countries: USD 75 + GST
  • Candidates from Non-SAARC Countries: USD 150 + GST

 

Registration Fee for CBT in Foreign Countries

  • All Indian Candidates (including PIO/OCI): USD 75 + GST
  • Candidates from SAARC countries: USD 75 + GST
  • Candidates from Non-SAARC Countries: USD 150 + GST
