AIIMS postpones Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) 2021

Due to a spike in Coronavirus cases in the country, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) postponed the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test or the INI-CET 2021. The exam was scheduled to be held on May 8, 2021. New dates for the entrance exam will be released soon by AIIMS on its website aiimsexams.ac.in 

The official statement reads, “In view of the evolving situation related to COVID-19 outbreak, the competent authority of AIIMS has decided to postpone the conduct of the INI-CET entrance examination scheduled for May 2021.” 

“The revised dates for the conduct of the said examination will be notified in due course of time through the website www.aiimsexams.ac.in,” the notice adds.

INI-CET 2021 is being conducted for Admission to PG Courses [MD/MS/M.Ch.(6years) /DM(6years)/MDS] offered at AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh and seven other AIIMS (Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur & Rishikesh) for the July session.

Earlier today AIIMS postponed the Supplementary exams and Practical tests for 2021. The exams were postponed in view of the resurgence of Covid-19.
